    That is very, very well done for a first time Rex. Now, if I can just get out of work and actually get some shop time, maybe I can make one half as good.

    Dave, it's walnut with 3 coats of Deft Clear wood finish, then waxed with Kiwi shoe polish natural wax, it's cheap and works great. I've been using it on small items, but this is the first large item.

    Rex - very impressive hollow form! Great form! My only 'complaint' is that you only gave us one photo! Very nice work! Looking forward to seeing hollow form #2! Thanks for sharing!

    Great looking piece for your first. Nice form but would like to see more pic's at different angles.
