Aurelio, I routinely use my 15 ga. PC DA nailer, and I really want to get the Bostich 16 ga. nailer. A 15 ga nailer leaves quite a hole, even for a trimmer, and if you are using yours for cabinetry work, a 16 ga nailer might be a better bet. I originally bought the PC when I was doing production work, nailing trim into metal studs, and a 15 ga DA nailer was the only one which would penetrate the metal studs consistently. Now that those days are over, I wish that I had a 16 ga. to nail up trim. It leaves a smaller hole, and still has plenty of holding power. FWIW

Walt, I'll take that into consideration.

    Aurelio,

Yes, I purchased the magnesium 15g Craftsman. They had them on sale a couple of weeks ago, and I had a 10% off coupon from the internet for signing up for the Craftsman Club e-mail alerts. Just visit www.craftsman.com and sign up for the alerts and you can print your 10% off coupon right then.

Mini-mini gloat, but I also picked up a set of the Screw Out bits and an auto switch for my vacume/sander set-up while I had the 10% off in my hand.

Since I included the Craftsman link, I guess I should state that I do not work for Sears or any of the companies that produce the Craftsman line of tools.

On mini-mini gloats do I have to include a pic of the Screw Out bits? 2 minute penalty, or can we just get a face-off outside the zone?

I have a set of screw outs that removes screws with damaged or painted over heads. I got them at half price. I've used it to remove some varnished over screws on some cabinets, and they worked excellent! You may have purchased the other ones that they offer. I am hopeful that Craftsman puts the nailer on sale the next time they offer club members the 10 percent discount. I can't wait too long though and will have to purchase it soon. I went in to the store and "handled" it to see how it felt in the hand. I liked the feel of it very much. That will definetly be my next big purchase. Thanks for the input.
