Capturing a snapshot of Sketchup file?

I have a cabinet for a client that I've designed in Sketchup. For whatever reason he can't figure out how to download the program and open the file. How can I capture a snaphshot of the cabinet to send to him via email?

  3. OK, but for those down the road who need to do this and find this thread via search, it's File->Export->2D Graphic..., then select a 2D graphic file type and the desired options.

It'll export an image of whatever you have in the current window.

Or just hit "Print screen and paste it into paint, save as a whatever file type you want (jpg, etc)

  5. That'll work, but only on a PC.

Doing it via export will give you some useful options, such as antialiasing (softening the pixels on diagonals) and image size/compression. For most purposes, you'll get a better image via export.

Or ⌘⌦ 4 on the Mac for screen capture.

But I agree, doing the export will give you better quality.

I always use ALT+PRINT SCREEN on Windows to just capture the active window, or CMD+SHIFT+4 and then rubber-band my selection on the Mac, and the press RETURN.

Both produce an image of just the active window contents.
