    Counter top for grill area

My original counter top was tile. It eventually got in bad shape and I replaced with treated plywood until I decided what I wanted. It has been on there a year and a half! I always go off on other projects it seems, I have a long list of things I need to get back to.

I figured I would use some of the black walnut I had and make the counter with it.

Overall size is approx 50" by 30". Used Titebond II glue. Finished with Epifanes clear gloss varnish with uv inhibiters.

I need to build a door for the storage area next. Hopefully I will get that done with less delay.

The plywood setup, and a bit of an eyesore:

Love the Green Egg....thats a very great smoker to have if you do not have a lot of room for one.
