    Power carving stand

Can anyone recall the thread that involves making an adapter to hold a chuck for power carving which is able to adjust to different angles? He used a 1" x8TPI bolt.

Is that the one that uses a trailer hitch ball?

Keoni, I seem to remember one that used a ball hitch as the swivel portion on the holder. But it should not be to hard to get it figured out if someone can't find it.

look threw the posts over in the carvers forum. i beleive it was there, or at least a picture. it was a flower, maybe a rose, and i think it might have been tunred first. it was an actual flower not just a flat picture. i beleive the person who posted it was one of the people here who lives in the suburbs of chicago.
