    "response" timing to posts

This is is probably a dumb question. How long does it take for a response to be posted to the topic? I sent one this morning to a post wanting info on what to do in KC and I can't seem to find it in the Off Topic thread. Does it take some time to make the thread? Or am I doing something wrong? Thanks. Larry

    Larry,

It can take some time depending on when you sent it and what the server is doing. I see that is showed up so all is cool.

Sometimes I hit the wrong button when I respond to a thread. Instead of 'Post Quick Reply' I end up hitting the Forum Jump button and, of course, my response never makes it. I did this 3 or 4 times before I caught myself. I kept wondering why my posts were being removed!!!

Did you know SMC is user supported? Please help.

All posts are submitted immediately to the server and are available for viewing. You might have to refresh your browser to see you post. Using IE on a cable modem my posts are instantly made and as soon as I submit the new message vBulletin takes me to my response immediately.
