I have been trying to work with black brass a little and it just does not look like I want it to. I have tried low and high power settings and it seems to come out dull looking no matter what I try. Any suggestions??

OK found an old thread that I posted asking the same thing. They say the memory is the first thing to go lol.
Albert where did you find the thread on black brass, I am also having a problem with it. Thanks, Leslie
Also Albert you could really do with adding some information about yourself. If you don't want to put your location, at least put the type of laser machine and wattage that you have, there may well be someone here who can help you.
Epilog 45w Helix X3/X5 Corel Microflame Generator (flame polisher) Heat Bender
Yeah I was going to go back and up date the info on myself a while back and was not sure how to edit that section. If I go to profile where do I need to go to change or add on. Leslie just do a search under black brass and it should show up

Go to USERCP. Then go to SETTING AND OPTIONS. go to Edit signature and add info
EPILOG LEGEND 32 60 WATT, CORELDRAWX5, PhotoGraV2.11, strip heater, PUNTA GORDA, FLORIDA
Need to make sure the brass is laserable. I use the laser brass steel sheets.
The brass is polished before the black in painted on the plate. Rotary Brass is not polished... and lasers very dull ..

Thanks Mark!!
