What Happened to Ryan's Prom Post

    Where did it go?

I had a guardian angel at one time, but my little devil got him drunk, tattooed, and left him penniless at a strip club. I have not had another angel assigned to me yet.

I was wondering about the same thing.
    Please help support the Creek.

I sent one of the moderators a PM to see if they can shed some light on this, it was a good cause and it was nice to see fellow Creekers band together in a strong show of support. It is beyond me to see any TOS violations here.

It certainly makes no sense to me. The guy was asking for votes to help his school for the prom. There have been many other people doing the same here over the years. Here's one example of a member, with far less participation on SMC than Ryan, asking for votes so he personally could win $5000 worth of tools from Delta. Not one thread, but 4 threads asking the same thing:

    http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?t=88218
    http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?t=87420
    http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?t=86576

If it was removed for violation of the TOS, the above threads surely should have been removed also.

Let's not jump to conclusions. If I remember correctly some of the mod's were posting as voting as well. The op may have request it to be pulled; Although this seems unlikely. we should wait for a Moderator to respond before forming a lynching party.

I for one was voting everyday; and was happy to do so.

Many members just like you have found extraordinary value in becoming a financial supporter of SMC.

    Hi James,

I'm not jumping to conclusions. I was simply pointing out that people have used this forum to ask for votes before this. I did use the term "if it was removed for violation of the TOS". I was another that was voting everyday and was hoping for Ryan's school to win his state.

    Folks, Please.

I know most of you are unhappy with the decision to remove the "Prom" thread but the discussion of what moderation is done in the forum is prohibited.

Please do not start anymore threads about this...they will all be removed.

    Thanks...and Sorry.

Did you know SMC is user supported? Please help.
