    Cherry Desk/Vanity

OK, I've lost my nerve. Seeing all the great contributions, thought I share my work from last year. Solid cherry vanity for my daughter. Most my work is shaker, so I searched long for a design/style that worked, was functional and would last the test of time. Solid cherry, mortise and tenon, Waterlox finish (first time I've used it, not bad stuff if you don't mind the gloss top finish).

Mash, that looks great. I like the integral beaded edge on the bottom of the side panels. How many coats of Waterlox did you use?

    Very Very nice work.

Is this of your own design or did you purchase plans for this?

That is very nice! It looks like you cut the top 3 drawer faces from the same board? I like the way the grain pattern flows
