    Awesome, Mike!

One question, will these drawers rattle?

    Chris,
How often do you shake your boxes?

Chris, If your main concern during an earthquake is whether or not your furniture rattles...

    Off and away!

My part is done, (yes finally - quit prodding, I know I am slow)

    Box Final 01.JPG

    The provenance plank is beautiful.

    Box Final 02.JPG

But now it is in the hands of the Brown Santas of UPS.

Belton - It is coming your way.

Thanks to everyone for letting me be part of this, and for bearing with me during my "time-out" for repairs.

Thanks, and I will be following this with interest.

Standing by for receipt. Looking forward to getting a good look at it for the right design on the handle.

I'm out of town this next week but will get hot once I return. I'll post progress pics.

Question? Am I doing the edge treatment on the lid?

    Belton,

You can if you think you should and if it flows or needs to flow with the handle....

    Belton,
Since your designs show the handle going thru the lid, it will need to be shaped and attached, so - yes you are doing the edge treatment, the attachment and the cove molding (if you want to use it - last time you wrote, you were going for an edge treatment that included a cove)

She arrived today, looks like she traveled well. I haven't had a chance to open the box yet as I'm packing to leave in the morning. I get back late Monday evening (18th), so I should be able to get started Tuesday. I'll post progress pics as I can. It shouldn't take long once I get started. I might have to pick up a new router bit for the lid edge treatment...but we'll see.

Sorry guys, my schedule got a little hectic lately. I seem to have gotten a little more behind than usual. I have a couple pens to make and mail this week for the pen swap going on in the turning forum. Should have some pics posted in the next couple days.
