    Walker-Turner Driver Jig Saw

    Hi,

Bought a "Driver J782" jig saw at a yard sale. Also downloaded the manual from OWWM but still have a question. By the looks of the oil on the stand, the old gal has been throwing it out. Need to know the proper rotation of the pully for these units. Mine has the pully on the right hand side when facing it. From the pictures on the net, some were reversed. Had another tool that puked oil one time and found out it was rotating the wrong way. Any info. will be appreciated.

    Thanks, Dick

You might try cleaning the casting around the pulley (I'm guessing its pretty gunked up with oily sawdust) and look for an arrow showing correct rotation.
