Thanks for the info Roger..Usually I can turn the pieces off by hand and this would have done the same.I reset the pin in a leftover not broken hole and it did come off as usual..I guess stuff...

According to my Manual they are indexing holes also used as a spindle lock. I bought the lathe 3-4-16 9 months ago..I'm hoping it's covered..

Peter,they have been cut for awhile.I just cut 2 slabs off the big oak on the end and it was green and damp as I'd care to have it..If I want more all I have to do is call him,he's in the woods...

I just talked to Doug and got my order in for 1/2 in and 5/8th in.bowl gouges and a 1 in bowl scraper,with 2 16in handles.Can't wait to get them..Roger,I estimated the blank weighed around 100...
