Thank you!
I use herbicidal vinegar, 20-30% acetic acid. It works for me in my situation. You should evaluate whether it suits yours. Here’s a link to one article - there are many others. LINK
That looks nice! You certainly did better than I did. (My first couple attempts were so disappointing that I stopped trying.)
Man, that’s a GREAT image. It’s probably the most fierce dragon image I’ve ever seen. And the resolution is amazing - his teeth are scary sharp. I’d be proud to own that.
Question? I don’t know...
Very nice job. So nice, I think I’d be afraid to scratch or dent it.
It’s a beauty!
I agree with what others have said: request a new car. If that doesn’t work out, have the dealer do the work BEFORE you sign the papers.
This is another option for felt in a box. It is a hand sprayed flocking. I’ve used it for years and like it a lot. YMMV. LINK
I once saw a woman in a big Lincoln Towncar pull out of McD’s. She was eating pancakes with the plate balanced on the steering wheel, using a fork and knife.
Thanks folks! I appreciate your help.

Hi folks.
I’ve had a 6” JET jointer and a 12 inch Delta lunchbox planer for about 20 years. I don’t use either very much, and the blades are still giving good cuts. So I have never touched the...
Glad you’re able to get back to it! Sounds like you’re taking a slow, sensible approach.
Look forward to seeing a pic of those plant stands.
Be well,
Fred
Aside. There are many sources for extruded aluminum. I happened to be on the Magswitch website and saw theirs. Posting in case it’s helpful to someone. LINK
Thanks for that Richard. I hadn’t considered that point of view before.

FWIW, I have one of these that belonged my grandfather. My #9 is a very nice tool and takes thin shavings.
I’m sorry but I don’t know where to get replacement parts for that. As someone already said, it wouldn’t be hard to make one.
An aside. I think whether it’s better to repair vs replace has a lot...
I have a set of Norseman that I like very much.
Thank you for this info Jerry.
I bought a drill doctor 5 years ago. It works well and is worth the $100 I paid for it.
Thanks for the link. Wright has a number of interesting items for sale.
Thanks for sharing this Ben!
I think it may be different here than where you live Mike. There’s work for high schoolers here.
I worked 30 hrs a week for much of high school. Paid for my jalopy car, my gas, my dates and things I wanted to buy. I still feel it was good for me. YMMV.
I think that’s a neat craft idea. For the materials pictured in his link (pine?), I wouldn’t pay more than $25. I’d pay $50-$65 if using more expensive or material like Sapele, etc where the color...
Understand and agree with you Jim. It isn’t all of them - some parents (like you) get it and teach them. But I have several kids right nearby whose folks never expected them to work - and it shows.
I don’t know if the statistic is accurate or not. It wouldn’t happen at my work. But if it did, I’d gently take the parent into another room, make them comfortable and get them coffee or soft drink....
