I enjoyed reading that. Thanks!
I replaced the key fob for my Infinity. I don’t recall exactly where I bought it (eBay?), but it was ¼ the price of what the dealer was charging, and works without any issues.
How small are you talking about? Hand sharpening is my preferred method but the drill doctor my wife bought me does work well.
I've been running my 2hp turret mill and 5hp engine lathe off of a static converter since the mid 90's. I haven't had any issues with it.
Congratulations on your achievement! I’m going on 4 years.
I was never able to do much sight seeing but I worked at a launch site on Kodiak Island for weeks at a time. Mind boggling natural beauty,...
The first one fits me to a T
Slick jig Jason. My method was similar to Matt’s. What I’m really impressed with is the dust collection on your router. MDF is horrible stuff to route!
It looks like an air bellows that has disintegrated, not a pulley.
While you're in Settings, also change the number of posts to show to 40. "Number of Posts to Show Per Page:"

They turned out very nice Ron. Not my cup of tea but I would’ve loved them as a 25-year-old. I once made a waterbed frame using RR ties and half of a large wire-spool for the headboard. It weighed a...

As nice as the MM16 is, they cheeped out on the throat plate. I destroyed mine doing some resawing. You will likely need to contact SCM for a replacement or find someone with a 3D printer setup. I...
I have used the spiral flute countersinks in metal working but I never cared for them.
Chatter can usually be controlled with RPM. Slow is good.
In general, I usually go to 180 or 220 and occasionally to 320 for visible surfaces.
Beautiful craftsmanship Phil. You inlay skill is stunning.
I am also curious about the movement.
I canceled my Bitdefender antivirus auto-renew when I switched from a Windows PC to Mac. The renew price dropped from $40 to $20.
Beautiful work Jim, the cherry will age nicely. I made a stand for my 110gal years ago. It was a fun project. I have only moved it once - when we removed the carpet and installed tile. That was NOT a...
One for the road
Why didn't think of that!
B&S dial calipers have been my goto for many years. They have the best feel of any I have ever tried. Batteries not required.
I filled up today @ $4.53/gal. I remember .025/gal & .025/pack cigarettes. I haven't bought any cigarettes in decades but I still have to buy gas. :(
Ditto.
I have the iPhone SE 2020. I bought the SE model expressly for its smaller size. From what I have read, the new SE2022 has the same physical size as the SE2020. I have fairly large hands and...
