I sand between later coats with a paper that closely resembles a brown paper bag. I buy it at the BORG in a big roll. (I even use it for stropping plane irons occasionally.)

I have one of these and it's a lovely tool. I've always been glad I bought it.

Pictures would help. Could be I'm unusual, but "barely used" doesnt really help me. If I'm going to spend a couple hundred, I'd like to see the actual item for sale.

How long has it been in use?
What kind of condition is it in? Pics from various angles would help one judge.

Agree 1/32" is too far off for furniture.

Yeah, foodsafe concerns me. Im guessing you could find foodsafe dyes (food coloring, etc) but then you come up on durability as the next problem.

I agree. That's a big reason I stopped reading Tom Clancy. Loved his first 2 books, but by the third one he was just too "cookie cutter" to hold my interest.
