Shop size is 30x50 (mostly dedicated to woodworking). Mostly building furniture, vanities, maybe small kitchens down the road. My theory is on this kind of stuff is I'd rather buy once cry once. ...
Nice. I am just north of Nashville. I have been looking but its hit or miss on whats out there.
Now that I am getting a new shop, its time to get some new toys. I've only ever had the dewalt planer but am wanting to upgrade to something bigger and more "professional". Looking at prices I'm...
Thanks for all the info. going to have to really think about how i want thing laid out.
In the process of getting a brand new shop!! Very excited! The shop will be a 30x50 Insulated Pole Barn. I have a couple of questions...
1. What are things aside from tools that you have added to...
Thanks I will let you all know how it goes!
Good morning.
I just ordered Target coatings 6500 tinted lacquer matched to a SW white and the recommended tip size for my Fuji q5.
I am looking for any tips on spraying a tinted lacquer as I...
We are wanting to build a white oak vanity for our new bathroom remodel. I have finished white oak before and it tends to go a little yellow. Is there a certain finish recommendation to keep it as...
I appreciate all the input. With festools being so far out just contemplating a different brand. This all helps. Does anyone think the paper from Mirka is better than the festool paper?
Just getting some opinions on the Mirka 6" deros 5mm. Can owners give me some pros and cons please.
Melamine is only the outer coating. You may be able to find at a good sheet good supplier Melamine layed on an armorcore, or a product like white laminate on plywood. I've used both and had great...
Always need more clamps!
Thanks all. I will try a combination of these and see. These are some of my older clamps that I wasnt thinking right and now I try and prevent glue issues during glue ups.
What is a good way to get glue off of kbody clamps? Grinder with flap disc? Lacquer Thinner? other ideas?
I own the Rotex 150 and the ETS ec 150/5. From what I have been told from a festool trainer at one time a few years back was they recommended the 3 stroke if you were already sanding with the rotex...
Depending on how many sheets you need, you can get melamine layed up on a plywood core, such as Armorcore or 7 ply. Also, depending on where you are located may be able to find the white one off the...
I am almost done with my kitchen build. I figured out how I wanted my fronts sized after a little trial and error. I was wondering if there was a method to sizing if you wanted a 3 drawer or 4...
A couple of other options to consider is just prefinished maple or birch plywood to save that labor and time. I get it for around $90-100 a sheet but its worth every penny. It is a B-2 grade. Since...
Steve great looking kitchen. Care if I ask what you finished with?
It is ML Campbell Magnamax h2o. I want to try the target brand on next project, I just have such easy access to ML Campbell.
After doing several scrap pieces I decided to just "go for it" on a few of my doors for my kitchen. The first coat had a little roughness but after sanding for my second coat it smoothed out very...
Yea its a top mount pressurized. I just used the original cup to do some spraying and it worked out fine. I am going to order the H/O cup.
Once I applied pressure to the cup it actually sprayed like what you would expect, in a sense. After reading I think I may need the 2.0 H/O setup since this is gravity fed.
I am thinking it could be that i am not using the 2.0 h/o. From reading last night that may be what it is, because it applies pressure from the top.
