Considering the list price for a new Felder CF741 Pro is $24.7k, that 20k for a 10 year old version seems very high - unless there is a bunch of gear that comes with it and it's in exceptional...
Might be useful to those considering a Bright White Finish from any manufacturer https://www.facebook.com/generalfinishes/posts/10154709635665566, especially if you're a pro and offering any warranty
Good video, thanks for posting, Jim. I can relate to Sam's comments about Italian food - just came back from a 3 week visit and now on a diet :-)
I sprayed a couple of old clear lacquer items recently. Just rubbed down the lacquer to create a key, removed the dust, wiped over with shop towel damp with alcohol and sprayed GF Milk Paint directly...
Ian, I've sprayed the same materials as you with no issues. My set up is a knock down spray booth made from rigid 2 inch foam insulation and a single large fan behind the booth extracting air through...
Thanks Jim - surprised at that as they aren't going to take the copper away even with no service, and some revenue would surely be better than none. The mysteries of the telco business model I guess
Chris, I got the MA504/1-001 as the readout, sensor was MS500H-0010, mag band was MB500/1-0233 with a length of 1.3m (too long but it's easy to cut to size) and a mounting bracket for the readout...
Chuck, I'd be surprised if your carrier took away the DSL just because you no longer need the land line. Don't know how much you would save just by dropping phone service but DSL only should be...
I believe John TenEyck uses a pressure pot with his compressor set up so he may know - might be worth sending him a PM
The Shark Guard is better than the standard hood - not sure whether I would describe it as huge but certainly the saw table stays cleaner for longer. I do have to close down the gate approx. 50%...
Hi Chris, finally took some photos which I think are self explanatory. As you're in Oz there's not much point in giving you the knurled nut information that I used to replace the supplied wing nuts....
Evan, the 4 stage Fuji has enough power to run the pot without any additional source (such as compressor). I've never used one but over on You Tube there are examples from other manufacturers on how...
I just use a foam brush, apply liberally and don't go over the area that's starting to dry. As you've already added extender, it should flow out fairly easily. Two or three coats, sanding in between...
Mary, you might want to look at this recent thread on a similar topic http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?258514-How-would-you-refinish-this-teak-garden-furniture
Fedde, you can choose whether the posts are listed via date (linear) or by threaded mode - just use the Display pull down at the top right
+2 on the glue joint or other mechanical alignment, especially for this number of joints
I would keep the port on the fence at 2 1/2 - mine is the same. Even if you made it larger, the gap in your fence plates around the router bit tend to be a lot smaller. Keep your flex down to a min...
Found this web page about the pros/cons of using oil on teak, might be helpful? http://teakpatiofurnitureworld.com/should-you-treat-teak-patio-furniture-with-teak-oil/
I have a 6x6x4 PVC Wye off the main duct and connect an 80mm flex duct to the fence and a 5 inch flex to the cabinet. Both of the flex ducts are short (around 4ft). The router cabinet is a Bench Dog....
Mark, depends on what you are cutting - for example if you are trying to cut thin strips off the side of a 6ft long by 1ft wide blank, then your additional blank could be 5ft long by whatever space...
If properly adjusted and if using the same reference face then it doesn't affect the square cutting. Even if you use the rip fence as a reference the error should be small when set correctly. We're...
Rick, there are probably plenty of good saw sharpening services via mail order (I've used Ridge, Forrest and Leitz) but Dynamic has good service at great prices compared to a lot of the competition
Typically a few thou toe out is plenty - you might need it one day if you ever use the rip fence on its own (as per a US table saw working method) as per Mark's comment. It still works as a bump stop...
I find a normal Allen wrench (ie L shaped) works fine as it needs less than half a turn to release/clamp and you won't need to raise the chuck as high (t shaped wrench would take more clearance)
