Great to hear John, stay well!
John,
If you don’t get a buyer for the pair, I’d be interested in the Osprey, handle and cutters. Keep me in mind. Really nice tools. Thanks,
earl
If we’re starting a pool, I’m guessing the seller is adding 36” to the right plus 12” to the left for a total of 48”. Just a guess.

Scott--i'm going to PM you with an idea. I have no clue if it's worthy, so the rest of y'all keep checking!!

Great work!! i need to do some mixing--not just in turned boxes, but in the rectangles too. Might be a weekend inspiration to get back out to the shop.

Stan--i'm a hobby turner, with no sponsorship or support from any vendor or manufacturer. I own one Laguna tool (2004 Bulgarian-built bandsaw, bought used), do a bit of buying at Craft Supplies...
Almost sounds like Mr. Gray has turned a bowl or two (thousand!!) :>)
Stay well Reed!!

Didn’t give that a thought Lou, sorry. TheM-power is nice and I think flexible, but in the $100+ range.
Yeah, the Bosch version of that is pretty well designed and executed. Not sure if the stock rods would be the same diameter, but that should be easy to overcome.

Got the Hunter Friday and used it yesterday. Will take a little time to get proficient, but I got functional in a handful of passes. Thanks!

Robust Sweet 16 is a 16” swing, but has a bed insert that can be removed for a 32” swing. Insert can be attached to the tail for longer spindle if desired. I’ve not gone past 16” so can’t comment...
I have some polyester swabs that I use for that kind of stuff. Like cotton swabs, without the fibers.

Just sent you a message on the Hunter. Thanks.

Wow, truly some fascinating stops, thanks for the education and ideas!! We live near the Heston Steam Museum in northwest Indiana, worth a visit on a future trip. We’ve been looking for some new...
I have a Bulgarian made 14” Laguna from 1994, with ceramic guides. Baby brother to the 16” Meber. It’s a solid saw, but I’d move up to the 16” Meber version in a heartbeat.

I have a Sweet 16 standard bed, and spent a week on an AB at a class last summer--and definitely a "weekender"--limited observation. Sweet 16 came up used locally when i was looking, and i could not...
I'm only seeing one photo, what appears view of the inside.

John,
if available, I’ll take the Thompson. Packard spindle as well if you still have. PM me your address and I’ll get a check ordered. Thanks,
earl
Used to be a guy on another lumber forum that posted mesquite & Tx Ebony pretty regularly--but i'm realizing that i've not seen anything of him since pre-covid. I may have some contact info--but...
They left you with no choice, had to. Nice score!

I have an earlier Sweet 16 standard length, so no digital display. Do have the 2 hp motor and swing away. No beef on minimum speed, and at least up to 14” diameter no power issues. Paul Heely...
That was my thought too Reed--and last Saturday in NW Indiana with sub-zero wind chill...Maui was looking like a right fine place to be!! Kevin may not feel the same in Vermont...

Jet 10” x 15” extension might be a candidate. Probably others. Hole pattern can be drilled if needed, as long as there’s nothing in the way in the casting and the ways are right. I don’t know if...
Holy smokes!! Since i suggested that you call Irwin, and that suggestion is calling your marital integrity into question--i feel it's only right that i offer to let you send those clamps to me so...
I agree with Mr. Colson below. I'll add that i'd be willing to pay a little more so You could pay a little less--because YOU helped make it possible for me to do that. Same with my second son.
