Hi, Can an electric 1hp motor be rewired to a switch of some kind so it will turn in either direction?How it this done?The motor is on a jet lathe.

Hi All, I have been reading all the posts about the squirl cage fan air cleaners.I have one it is 115volts,2.9amps 1 Ph. it has a capasitor with 2 brown wires that go into the motor.All so 1blkwire...

You can use an old saw blade.Cut with a cold chisel finish it with a file it worked for me.
