Exactly! A LA plane can also mess up a project if used incorrectly.
A 6' and 2' level from the 60's or 70's.
This is what I use from Klingspore http://www.woodworkingshop.com/product/sh33500/#.VPTruOFJNVc
If one purchases a tool at a brick and mortar, would one expect to hear "some rust is ok" from them, Eric?
Well I got it to work by turning up the air pressure to 105 like Greg mentioned. As I said in an earlier post, the compressor is brand new so possibly the gauge is off.
Thanks again to everyone who...
Interesting, thanks, Justin.
Thanks Greg, I'll look into those ideas tomorrow.
Thanks guy's.
Bill, there is a depth adjustment but all that accomplished was getting the pin from 5/16" to 1/16" above the work surface. Now, without the nose piece I can get the pin to...
I recently purchased this pin nailer along with a 6 gallon Porter Cable pancake compressor. This is my first finish type nailer (have used larger framing nailers in the past). My question deals...

Replaced the pulleys and belt last year... and that's all.
Never had a need...

I agree. I too would like to see what they have to say.
False analogy. Produce at the grocery store is arranged and displayed in a manner to allow for picking. A better analogy would be picking through the pre packed bags of fruit and making a bag of all...
I have my belt sander set up to be stationary. When the wood being sanded gets loose on this, it is very close to the same speed as the table saw kick back is. Now, the advantage with the sander is...
I was wondering the same thing.
I just received a new Lufkin wood folder yesterday from Amazon that will replace the 25 year old Lufkin. The first thing I do when I enter my shop is to put my pencil behind my ear, and my folding...
Dosen't the I/S of the disc spin at a different speed than the o/s? How can you get a truly flat surface with this being the case?
I've been using the one that installs on the Worksharp 3000 for several years now. IMO it is a simple design that gives very good results.
Why do you suppose there is a lack of real research about wood dust, Ty?
