My Iphone X has facial recognition and it works pretty good, only a few times its failed but then I just put in my code. Biometric devices are great when there is power, but they are worthless when...
I will have to go find that video or two, but a you tuber put a few short videos out about making a water jet machine with the parts from an electric pressure washer. It worked quite well for the...
If you like peel and stick tiles you should look into "click" vinyl flooring. Its a floating floor and goes together fast. I installed some in my quilting room. So far the only issue I have had is...
I have been using Simple Green with great success.
Good sunny afternoon fellow creekers. As I finish the repairs on this laser I have been cleaning it. The lack of air flow and lack of cleaning inside the machine, its a wonder they never had a fire....
Been there done that, so has my wife, just no casts involved....I wear out keyboards usually but I have fried 2 MS Ergo keyboards......
It looks to me like your standard slotted mounting bracket to the junction box. I would be surprised if it didn't mount to a 4" round box.
Do the holes line up? A 4.5" cover would go past the box by 1/4" which is a good thing for outside boxes. If you go to the box store you should be able to fine one that works.
Since I have a 24" ariens and it will chuck it a good long distance I am guessing about 40ft. Since it was in the otterbox it came out unscathed :)
As a side note, when I was active duty, we had to re shadow our tool boxes occasionally. One trick I learned was that if the tool was able to be heated, we would throw it in the oven for a few...
I have tons of flowers peaking up already and my lilacs are showing signs of life. If we get another cold snap they are all going to get their noses nipped yet again.....
I have been using a CPAP for 5 or 6 years now. I started out on the nasal pillows and they wouldn't hold the pressure setting of 11. I have tried a number of masks that go over just my nose and...
I do not believe they are interchangeable. The DM series is digital, the M series is analog.
First things first, here is a good source to build your own cnc/laser machine. They include just about everything you might want at a basic level.

I have considered something close to your design. How often have you had to change out your activated carbon?
Glen, did you buy or build your filtration unit, if you built it, do did you follow Dan Hintz's design?
If I am up in the the neighborhood I may just have to stop by and say Hi to a fellow creeker, I believe what your saying :)
I just finished looking at that link, my that is a hog of a system you...
What brand of cyclones do you have? I have followed the dust collection threads on here for a long time including the Thein one. Most of them deposit almost all of them in the cyclone. Not much if...
The collection of the saw dust, chips and the dangerous superfines are usually captured by some sort of cyclone device before it gets to the dust collector filter, thus allowing it to be vented...
Its pretty good there are a couple of other ones out there. I have to upgrade mine to a 6" but that is very doable.
Read this here, it has a ton of good info, http://www.sawmillcreek.org/entry.php?217-DIY-air-filtration-unit-for-lt-200
I have been contemplating the flow of air in and our of a laser engraver. For CNC routers, we put a dust collector shoe and vacuum it up there. Why do we not do the same thing for a laser???
