Similar to the Craftsman I have. I discarded the disc portions as the disc was just too wobbly. I did fab a vertical fence to use as a pseudo edge sander.

When I was looking HD carried the 30 ga stuff, but the only pics I have seen (on this site 10 years ago) of collapsed duct were of 30 gauge snap lock. Or are you speaking of 30 gauge spiral?
Perfectly happy with my snaplock, 26 gauge in sizes up to 7". Cost no issue? Then upgrade to spiral. Enlighten me, snap lock is smooth bore with a seam in line with the flow. How can spiral...
Not sure anti-seize qualifies as legit pipe dope. I wouldn't trust it to seal a joint.
Reading up on how best to seal NPT pipe on a 1" commercial toilet inlet. Apparently everyone has a favorite technique: dope, tape, dope/tape, tape/dope, dope/tape/dope. One lab study found most...
Those giant teeth and that thin aluminum skin, not the right tool for the job.
50% here also.
Check your local hardware store, lots of rust stain removers. But if it has really soaked in, you may be out of luck. Worth a try though.
Let your pool sit until the chlorine level tests zero then you should be ok to dump into the storm sewer.
I have found that the Dickies Perry suspenders work well. They are three point style, one in the back, two in front and hook the belt rather than use the old style clamp. Easy to take off and put...
Yep, build it in place.
Cast iron is easy to drill, think of it like a very hard wood. No lubricant is necessary. Just follow the previous suggestions of using a solid 1/4" pilot. And a quality bi-metal hole saw.
Doesn't have to be expensive to be explosion proof. Just Google explosion proof fans, lots of choices under $200. Reminds me that BigAss fans sells a 6 foot diameter shop floor air mover (not...
He was speaking of tallest hardwoods, redwoods are coniferous and not considered hardwoods which are deciduous.
Been to Alaska three times, On none of them did Denali grace us with it's presence. My memories of the trip were the train trip out of Skagway, the glaciers calving, whale spotting and taking the...
Nice job, I always enjoyed making jigs, others see them as a needed waste of time.
Clive Cussler recently passed, but many of his books are "with" a co-author, including his son, Dirk. By writing style and story line they all have the Cussler style. Wondering how much input...
Still using my old 3.5 hp Hitachi M12V plunge router in a Woodpeckers lift designed for it.
Don't underestimate the time and talent it takes to have a successful YouTube channel. Editing typically takes at least ten times the amount of time of the final video, not to mention the effort and...
Kris DeVo took his cutting board hobby to production as a result of incorporating his YouTube channel and getting more orders than he could handle out of his one car garage. All of this while in...
Chrome on my PC.
I wired my entire house including meter box and 200 amp panel under a homeowner permit. 47 years ago. Hasn't burned down yet. 200 amp seemed like overkill on a 1550 sf ranch with basement. That...
I understand the cost issue with an extra sheet of ply, but I find the deeper cabinets over the fridge are very valuable for storing larger items like roasting pans and vacuum sealers. Also I was...
I remember Bill saying the 7" size is ideal, but if you go with PVC, 6" is the way to go. I went with a 7" lock joint steel main duct on my 2 hp Super Dust Gorilla. (Gosh, how many times have I said...
A small pipe wrench is invaluable. The harder you turn it, the tighter the grip becomes. I even have one only 6" long. And I have one 24" long, and several in between. You can only clamp a set of...
