I too have caught myself with a case of the "stares" after ducking into my shop at the end of a long day (and sometimes before a long day)!
I have found that I'm enjoying the shop and staying...

Mike,
Fabulous work-the selection of oak and accents give the piece a great update while bing a clear homage to MCM! Thanks for sharing and your work (and speed!) are inspiring.

Hi all,
My subscription lapsed and I could view posts but not see any pictures on my phone for a whole day and a half until I could get back to my laptop and renew! Less than $10 for the best of...
Could make a nice disc sander as well with a simple homemade top.
Excellent box, photos and discussion on routing! I’d love to see a photo of the router table set Edwin described.

Touching up veneers with a shooting plane on a shooting board is one of my favorite things! Glad it worked out and will look forward to seeing the project come together.

My variation is to rub out the final finish with 0000 steel wool and hard paste wax. Will have to try the craft paper trick.
spectacular!
Good luck finding one. Mine is a favorite. Not much help, I know…
Congrats on the big step! Have been and will be following along.

Great work Mike! And I've decided that when my lovely doesn't ask for something and buys instead it is because she wants me to build what I want :) Or (more likely) she's working on a different...
Great to see this project Glenn. Thanks for taking the time to share, I always pick up something new (didn't even know parallel pliers were a thing...). Hope your knee behaves and I will be...
Nice work Dennis! And I agree scroll saw blades are impossible to keep straight...
Can't help with the second table, but both the other projects are great, especially the lamp table top.

Wow! What a monster (in a good way!). Great choice of wood, hardware and finish-classic. Hope you had help moving it! Thanks for sharing.

Chris
Glenn,
That looks great. I presume you resawed the slats to ~1x? Will likely serve as inspiration for some summer projects.
