I wear Birkenstock Boston Clogs. The thick cork footbed is very comfortable for long hours at the bench and the uppers are thick leather in case I drop a chisel. I just step out of them before...
Derek,
Not sure if you have considered Porsche's PCCM Plus (support for CarPlay) for your 986. I have a 981 Cayman and am awaiting the arrival of PCCM Plus for the 981 generation. Also depends on...
Perhaps this will do?

Hi Lee,
Don't mean to hijack the thread, nice box. Could you provide some details on how you did the lining? Construction, Fabric, etc.
Thanks.
I am a novice and just got my first bandsaw last year; I followed Michael Fortunes advice on setup and I am extremely happy with the way my saw cuts and resaws.
I ordered a bandsaw from them and asked that they hold off on shipping for 4 weeks, they were very accommodating.
When you are ready to reapply the silicone, I can recommend the Cramer FUGI caulk tools. I used them for the first time redoing our shower....
I also use a planing stop but when the pieces get very thin then a small amount of double sided tape helps. Don't use too much and apply perpendicular to grain direction.
+1 on the Costco towels, occasionally they go on sale so they are even cheaper. If you are a heavy user you can order 324 towels for $150.
Sorry for your loss. Dogs are wonderful and we are fortunate that they love us, take some comfort in the fact that you were able to share some time together.
New solution to eternal problem, I like what you have done.

I do a couple of shellac coats first and then several applications of tried and true varnish oil, resulting in a nice low gloss finish. I suggest you do a test board first to see if you like it.

Yes I agree, thanks for all the effort.
As far as I know just the 14.
This saw was actually once sold as a Laguna 14 SUV (based on my conversation with a Harvey product manager), it still retains the holes for an axle and 2 threaded holes on the right-end (narrow side)...
Steve,
Yes the legs are threaded through the base, M12x60, according to the manual. You have an interesting idea I'd like to know how and if it works out for you.
Mike nice boxes.
Scott,
If you don't want to see gauge lines on the show side don't put them in until you have sawn down the to the bottom of the pins or tails. Use a pencil line first to define...
Steve,
I'll assume the front of the saw is the side you push the wood into :). If that is the case then I have the casters on the right side of the saw. To move the saw I grab the dust port and the...
The week I got mine we were scheduled for heavy rain and I wasn't sure if i could get it into the garage with out some unpacking/disassembly. I asked the freight company, Daylight Transport, to hold...
Yes as Jim suggests it is a positive sign, i would try it and if it performs well keep it. The cheaper stuff does seem to heat as quickly and makes some noise. I bought a cheap non-stick from Costco...
I dropped a exhaust filter on mine and got a little nick, no big deal, the Schott ceramic glass used in these tops is very tough. I have an old cast iron pan that is a bit rough on the bottom, I just...
We switched from a gas cooktop to induction a few years ago and I would never go back for all the reasons already mentioned. We had a 30inch gas cooktop so the easiest thing to do was replace it with...
