bill, i have been searching the phx area craigslist for a while. waiting for the best deal to come across... then a friend told me to be weary of used bandsaws because you cant be certain if there is...

ok. sounds good. when the glue joints are dry, then i imagine you just turn from right to left working on the base last so the skinny parts dont crack.

would gorrilla wood glue suffice? does it...

in my mind, when i think of how to get the same results, i imagine glueing 3 blocks together. then turning the whole thing like you would a segmented bowl. i dont know if that is lamination tech or...

i have always looked on CL for free wood or cheap fire wood... i never thought to place an add looking for wood...

since i do buy and sell a bit on there... when i want to place multiple adds...

i normally use a 4blade and put a tennon while im between centers...

then with my tennon cut i use my jaws and rough the outside... then get near finish product on outside...

this nice gentlemen offered me this one ( not the exact one, but same model#)

just dont buy the cheaper ones... youll be sharpening all the time. they work, but just dont seem to keep an edge very well.
