I had a TS350 and used a 6" dado stack with no problems. It does tax the motor a bit, but the arbor was plenty long.
Hope that helps-

There's a great website www.cornholeplayers.net that has a design gallery, and also some fantastic building instructions. I just made my second set and would recommend plywood as well. My next set...
The local home show here in Evansville has a reconditioned Ridgid booth, it looks like they're selling refurbished jointers for around $250. What did you pick up Ridgid-wise? Look like good stuff?...
Jeff Jewitt had a nice article in FWW a ways back on staining QSWO, where he uses a water-based dye in a lighter color, then BLO, then a quick wipe/wipeoff of a darker gel stain, then a top coat. It...
In case you decide to go with the Grizzly 6" jointer, it's actually cheaper right now on Amazon. It's still shipped from Grizzly, but the price before shipping is 395 rather than 475. Sometimes the...
I built a toy chest this Christmas with a spring assist device I found at Lowe's. They sell them so that you can purchase a left, center, or right-side placed spring along the lid. Though the lid...
I am building a Stickley-style dining room table for some friends in cherry. I built a similar one for myself a few years ago in qs white oak.
Because all the wood I had was 4/4, the outer...
Since you don't have tools to do the milling, another possibility is using a cabinetmaker. You'll pay more than you would from a sawmill, but I found most cabinetmakers happy to cut me a build list...
I have searched and found some helpful information, but I can't seem to get a straight answer for this specific situation.
I am building a dining room table (42 X 84) for a friend similar to the...
These are simple plans, but my 3 year old and 2 year old use it every day and absolutely love it. One of the most useful things I think I've built for the kids, and it took all of an afternoon......
I picked up the "Wolfcraft" portable drill guide for $7 on clearance last week from HD. Not the greatest quality item in the world, but definitely works, and much better than the $35+ regular...
Bruce--
I agree, it's not that hard, but a few changes over the last 24 hours have made it confusing. At first, the "free shipping offer" sign was up, but not the product promotion, and no free...
There is no promo code, and the saw is still 300 bucks from Amazon, they're just currently out of stock. Choose "used and new from..." and you should still be able to get the 300 deal with free...
It looks like if you go through to the final checkout page, it gives you $30 off shipping. Helpful, but not worth an entire thread. Sorry, folks...:o
I am on the phone with Amazon right now trying to figure it out. The first guy I talked to said "that just means the shipping offer is free, not the shipping."
The price on the Delta...
I can't find a single page that details every thing that's covered, but almost all of the major brands are now displaying "free shipping" on Amazon. DeWalt is at least one exception, but Powermatic...
Find a Lowe's with a Delta 50-760. You can get the price down to 100 or even 50 with some work. Call your local Lowe's, and have the tool person do a search for item #202439. They likely won't...
Thanks to the recent Lowe's closeout of Biesemeyer fences, I now have a fence that is much better than my little Delta Ts300 (formerly 36-600). Has anyone tried mounting a Biesemeyer to something...
Another problem I've had with my Dewalt planer is that the original blades were dull to start with. The first "side" of the planer knives didn't last an entire project. After that first one was...
I don't know what the T2 is priced at, but most Lowe's have the Unifence for under $70 now, and I think that is a great fence, and more easily adjustable than the T2, IMHO...
I actually took a copy of the receipt I got from Lyle to my Lowe's, and none of the 3(yes, I went to all of them!) stores would budge off the 200-220 price tag. Since it's a clearance/non-stock...
The Delta 50-345 (the one you have to make the wooden slats) was on sale at my local Lowe's for $12. I'm pretty sure that's cheaper than buying castors...:D
Not the deal of the century, but definitely not a bad way to spend twelve bucks. They were 35 last week in the same store on clearance, and they're still around 54 on Amazon. This was a sticker...
I would call back the Aurora store at a different time and try and get another person to look. The store I finally found one in said they didn't have it, I called back and a more diligent employee...
I really appreciate this thread--there weren't any in my area, but I sent my brother to a Lowe's in Little Rock armed with this info and he walked out with a $50 50-760! The rebate is good through...
