https://www.victornet.com/tools/Bimetal-Band-Saw-Blade-Coils/331.html This is where I have purchased my bandsaw blade material. I made a small fixture to clamp the stock and file a 20* angle along...
I have been making my blades for years. Silver solder with a simple fixture. No need for annealing, or heat treating. Whenever a blade broke, it was never at the joint. Which did not happen very...
Well done indeed!
My brush should be in today!
Thanks
Years ago I bought the K-3 system. I did not get the vise/clamp upgrade kit.
When I went to purchase it, it was discontinued.
I called Kreg and asked if I could buy just the upgrade kit.
I was...
I just picked up some, 3/4", 1/2", and 1/4" Russian Baltic Birch plywood. The 3/4" was $45.00 for a 4X8 sheet. It is so heavy! The real deal. The domestic Maple was $60.00, and not the same quality....
I was lucky to find a supplier not too far from me. I do have a closer one, but they hardly had any plywood. What they did have was far worse than the Home centers stuff. It is worth it to me to...
I have made end grain cutting boards from the cutoffs from the end grain boards that is was making, waste nothing!
No kits, just cut and fit!
I have 3. Only bought 1, inherited the other 2.
Mine came in yesterday, very nice!
I picked up two of them also.
Thanks for the tip.
I made 2 edge guides, based on Mr. Pat Warners design. You are right, its a gem. One for my Bosch colt, the other for my 611. Both were for the plunge bases.
I ordered drill rod, bronze tipped set...
I went to Lowe's yesterday. I found them. I picked up a dozen. You can never have too many clamps, and routers. That's my story, and I'm sticking with it!
Nice clamps, for the price! Thanks for the...

This may help, Ellen.
I have purchased a few items, very satisfied.

I have the Stots/Milescraft Master template system, Handheld or Table. Also the General EZ-Pro II, handheld.
I tweaked both of the systems to minimal setup and adjustments, to achieve precision,...
I have picked up quartersawn cedar fence boards when they go on sale at the local BORG. I let them dry over time. I then plane one side and square up one edge, and glue up the boards. Rip it to the...
I just ordered the 34-320 model, and while I was at it I added a 4" double square. I have a 6". Sometimes the 4" is better suited.
Thanks for the tip Mike.

Excellent idea Glen! I have a pair of those clamps, and a few 4' lengths of "T" track, and some hold down clamps!
Thanks for sharing that design.
I had the same issue. I found that there were some high spots that were "grabbing" on both parts. I lightly sanded, and used scotcbrite to allow both components to move freely. I also kept trying the...
Can you shim where the areas are causing the deflection. Mainly at the screw locations. This may avoid redoing your cabinet.
Just a thought.

VXB. Thats where I bought mine. I have the Rikon 10". Same as the Sears. I still have the first replacement set on. They work great, inexpensive.
I have a few. Not any high end fixtures. They work. When I need them, they are there for me.
I have that BS. I have not had any issues with tracking problems. It has been a little workhorse for me.
I followed the Alex Snodgrass process. It has worked well for me.

Bill, I approach it the same way that Scott has described. The only difference is that I have not tried using beeswax. I use TBII, only because of the possibility of a darker glue line at the lighter...
