I am a woodturner and have made and engraved thousands of pens. Antler engraves to a beautiful gray contrast and generally, a wide variety of settings will work. However, the type of pen and...
I am considering the purchase of a laser for my home away from home. I have owned an Epilog for 14 years and it will continue to be my primary laser and do the bulk of my work. I have a cabin in...
I engrave pens with a laser. PM me for details if interested.
The calls look great. Where can I find the slate and other surface materials for sale?
Wish I had the extra $$. I'd jump on that DVR in a heartbeat at that price.
ALL press fit parts WILL work loose over time. Clips are usually the first part to work loose followed by couplers on screw cap pens. I epoxy ALL parts into place. CA will work, but the gases...

If I were in your situation, my choice would be based upon the topic of the demonstration rather than the demonstrator because they are all in the must see category.
Finish the smiley face that is partially burned in the bottom ;)
Seriously though, burn a scene that somehow incorporates the little mishap. Or perhaps pierce the entire piece with hundreds of...
A couple of 2008 shows were better than 2007, but most were down from 2007 - at least that was my experience.
I have paid as much as $750 for a booth. Sometimes I leave on the plus side, sometimes in the hole.
As far as I know, most exotic wood in stores is still somewhat green. Some pieces may be drier than others, but it is typically not kiln dried.
