I’ll throw my opinion in as well. This has been a very good discussion and some good points have been made. I have a DF500 and honestly use it more for cabinetry and even solid wood carcasses. It’s...

I don’t know but I’m liking this simpler approach. It’s been a really good hit.
I'm trying to determine the inside dimensions needed for a 10 gun cabinet that stores the guns vertically. One plan I found for a six gun cabinet puts the inside dimension at 37". For ten it would be...
Your tools are essentially long and narrow and since you only turn you shop could reflect that.
Never have used one. I think CNCs replaced them.
The difference is in the details mostly with the fit and finish. The switches feel cheaply made but work, the decals fall off and the paint missed a few spots. Does it matter how the planer cuts? No....
Just build a big sled beyond the capacity of the Kapex. Put it aside for later when you need to cut something bigger.
Thanks guys. I’m going to incorporate a insert and see how it goes. Yes I’m using tall Parf dogs as a guide for my track.
Maybe to help the gas or electric furnace not work so hard warming the space add a wood stove . Set the shop temp to 40 and the heater will maintain that temperature. Then when you want to work warm...
For those of you that have a “cutting table” of sorts to use with a track saw would it be a bad idea to incorporate into an assembly table? I finally received my Parf Drilling guide and plan on...
Yes you can get the Supercell in 33 and 55 gallon bins. I have room for a 33 gallon one. Thanks for the idea of making a box,I might have to look into that.
I’m in the process of putting these in my shop with the surface mount kit....
The rip fence stop looks like a nice way to replace the blocks of wood I clamp to the tube as stops.
Thanks Jim, I would really like any long cone cyclone with a 55 gallon drum but there’s not enough room even under the eaves outside. Well I guess I’ll have to see what happens, maybe I’ll get enough...
I use the 3m Peltor ear muffs and like them.
I've see a few reviews around and one was using the super cell on a 15" planer. Looks to work good. Does anyone have any experience with this setup? I have an 15" planer and no plans to up size only...
I was researching the same question, however I do not want the expense of hardwood or laminate flooring. I was thinking about just laying the tile subfloor panels made by ?Dicore? that have...
I went the same route upgrading the same machine to a Grizzly 15”. The helical head has the cutters oriented straight and it does a fine job. My jointer I upgraded with a Shelix and the difference is...
Looks like I’m on part 7 of the build. I got the top attached. This construction is different as the top is part of the structure and was glued and screwed. The upper drawer carcass was dominoed and...
I live 30 miles west and a bit north of Fargo. I see you’re about 2 hours away from me.
Got a bit of catch-up to do. I’ve been busy at work so here goes a few more pictures.

Adding edging to 7/8” plywood I made in the vacuum press by adding 1/8 Baltic birch to 3/4”. ...
A variable speed and a tool triggered outlet can be used with any vac. They’re both around $30 on Amazon. The variable speed controls is meant for routers but my vacs been running for years with the...

Dados and notch cut to accept the upper case of the two drawers. The overhang matches the 3/4” thick rails.

I ordered the original version. I’ll probably adjust the cabinet storage layout for my needs but that plan is probably the best idea I’ve seen to add storage to one of those benches. Mine will...

I just ordered one as well. I’m planning to build a cabinet based on the one in this old American Woodworker magazine. I’ll follow up with a post when I get it done....
