As I recall from replacing the original cutterhead with the Shelix cutterhead on my DW735, I did have to remove the straight blades.
McFeely's for many years. Now use Tacoma Screw which serves a good portion of the Pacific Northwest.
Thanks John. I now can't get the method for calculating square roots out of my head.

I have CMT's extension that I use solely with a bowl router bit; have had no issues with it. Not sure if I would want to use it full time for all routing requirements.
Rick, I saw the same video. And, as I have an immediate need for this application, went ahead and ordered one. I too was familiar with alignment issues with other brands but thought it was worth a...
The website that Gary was referring to is https://generaltoolsusa.com.
Packing tape on my cauls and wax paper on my clamp rails.
As an alternative to the plates, one can use the router table fitted with a roundover bit with a diameter 1/2 of the needed dowel diameter. There was an article in one of the old ShopNotes magazines...
I contacted them 2 years ago about their discount and was told it had expired. Had not tried it since then.
Another vote for the Beal Tilt box.
I run my end grain cutting boards through my planer with a byrd head. But, I round over the edges with a 3/8 radius router bit before doing so, which removes the chance of blowout. And I take...
I, too, have purchased from Bandsawbladesdirect before for the Diemaster 2 blades I use. Most recently I purchased from Hastings Saw in San Rafael CA; great customer service.
Interesting, Bruce. I had never heard of a Certificate of Mailing.
Very nice, Shiraz. Great tip on using the spoon for the inlay.
Another vote for the medium LV shoulder plane.

The Infinity setup gauge works well; as Michelle stated these bits are a pain in the backside to use. By the way, the setup gauge was invented by fellow Creeker Alan Schaffter.
One of the trucks that my dad had in his business was a 1950 Dodge power wagon that you could not shift gears unless you double clutched. He also had a 1939 Dodge panel truck that shifted with ease....
Mike, reading your paper caused me to recall my college days. I enjoyed all my math classes until I got to dify q. I was never so happy when the course was behind me. Because of my results in the...
I have the old styles of both Jorgensen's cabinet master clamps and Bessey's k body; usually grab the Jorgensen first. Did pick up a couple of the new Chinese version of the cabinet master; they...
I'm also a fan of the Resaw King. As others have mentioned, I also experienced the Timberwolf dulling sooner than expected.
I thought it was a joke, until I saw Peter's post with the Amazon link.
I have a Grizzly keyless chuck with a JT33 taper that replace a keyed chuck. Was able to get the arbor off the old chuck so had to buy a new one. Overall, the Grizzly works fine for my work needs.
Wow, this thread really takes me back. I recall taking a computer course in 1968 as a required engineering course. The language used was Fortran IV. I recall having to punch the cards after...
