Hey Marco... I've got two Epilogs hanging off on Harbor Freight blower, all hard-piped with waste-gates on each machine. More than enough to pull from both when the machines are cutting. They're...
I assume you have all your fonts registered in Font Navigator, so use the app to copy them to an external drive (flash or hard drive). Inside Font Navigator, there's an option to copy fonts to...
Hey Kev,
The coating/paint is pretty thick. Not sure if it's paint or cerakote, but it's tough. So I did as you said, started low and fast to see how the paint reacted. Didn't dent it at low...
Hey Chris,
good tip with the simple green, I use ZIP 505 which didn't really work on the slag. I started at 100% power and 50% speed at full frequency, then progressed up down to 15% speed. ...
I've been struggling with getting a clean burn with my CO2 on the black finished KaBar knives. Using my 40-watt epilog mini, it took about 5 runs and then a trip to the buffer to get anywhere near...
Thanks Ross,
Would never had found them since I'm not a member of any promotional products groups.

Searching for the source of this sustainable award. Anyone know who puts this together?...
Craig,
Hope you finally got your set-up to work. Since you're in Orange County, I've been meaning to connect, but finally had a tid-bit I thought could help if you get stuck again.
Did you...
Craig, if you remove the switch, then you need a cross-over cable between the pc and laser. See if that helps you to connect once you set the ip to the machine....
Since you don't have a maker space close by, I'd suggest a road-trip over to Epilog in Colorado. I've heard they're happy to show you the ropes with their equipment...
MAP gas works great, just be careful you don't soften the plexi too much as it will reform if you set it down hot.

What goes first when cleaned in a dishwasher, the screenprinting or the seams on the cup.. machine washing is not good for either
I'd mask and paint fill, but also shoot a clear-coat before your color so there is no chance of the color bleeding into the grain. Should be a fairly easy process for you, get some 18" high-tack...
it's officially a meme?

look at RB Fabrication in California. They cut custom acrylic shapes out of any thickness sheets, may even stock something already. Ask for Cesar.
switch over to cat-5 network connection... Soooooo much better! not sure it will eliminate your issue, but could help. Make sure you have a cross-over or use a hub between computer & laser
Yes the clipart formats in Ver 4 will open in at least x7...don't have x8 to try it out
Look through Flea-bay for old versions of CD... My favorite was version 5, had a whole library of clipart that's still good with the current version.......
Craig,
What happens when you just overlay your square with a box with a white fill and no outline? no trim, weld or join?
I agree with Gary, using the save as PDF option in Corel is the best way to get proofs out of your production system. I even made a page template with the date, job and contact info that I drop the...
I use Krylon rattle-can products all the time. They're fairly fast drying (gold & silver about 10 minutes) and don't muck up the mask/transfer tape unless you let it set for longer than 18 hours.
Late to the thread, but it looks like it's over-exposed or ran too hot?... however that works with Cermark? The loss of detail could be causing your issue. (note the loss of detail in the caduceus)
