Having one recurring problem doesn't mean cursed neccessarily. But maybe that starter is beyond rebuilding? Have you cleaned up wiring connections, especially the grounds? If it was deep in mud I...
My Dad was a pipe fitter and pipe welder. He stressed impact over leverage for loosening things like that. I concur with Jason.
Very nice grain and nice proportions.
Geez, I thought stuff like that only happened to me. Hope nothing else is damaged.
Fresh chopped rosemary, fresh chopped garlic, fresh ground pepper, olive oil. From the Italian kid!
That organ is amazing. Quite a project right there!
Thanks for your inputs and insights. So many details to every process. My cottage renovation has opened my eyes to a lot of details and how important it is to try to figure how the first steps...
So, I have done very little drywalling, maybe 15 sheets or so. I know butted joints must end on a stud. So the end of the drywall is 3/4" onto a stud for each piece. That seems sparse to me. In...
The grain is magnificent! Love it.

My Daughter (30) got shocked with a hair dryer that had a damaged cord. (Please don't say she should have known better, I aready said that.) She has a nasty burn 1/2" wide across the underside of...

Yep! just like clamps................you can never have too many shutoff valves! ;)
I agree. I lean toward the replacement idea the most. I have had some valves stop a weep like Jerry suggested, I suppose the mineral deposits seal it. I would replace it and move on.
Not sure about the financial part, but that is a beautiful piece right there.
Nice use of scraps. Love when I can use extra pieces to an advantage>
I was a little too young to really understand what was happening. Thanks to all that served.
