I just bought a Grizzly GO899 table saw. It has a 5-20 plug. I have a standard outlet. It has two prongs and a ground. Can I simply use an adapter?

I have a bunch of saw blades I would like to sell. I would like to sell them as a lot. If they don’t sell together, I will likely list them individually on local sites. They are all 10” full kerf....
Since you have the southern yellow pine, I would go with that. My SYP bench has held up swimmingly over the past 10 years. And I actually like that my bench is made of softer material than most of...
I love it. I have had good success adding cherry or walnut highlights.
Hey Thomas, don’t know where you are located but Woodcraft has them in stock in Grand Rapids, MI.
Patrick, Did you ever find any plans besides those listed above?
Thanks Patrick, that sounds like good advice. Normally, I would agree 100%. The reason I am thinking about using this southern pine is that the growth rings are incredibly close and I think that will...
I have some old growth southern yellow pine. They are timbers and would have to resave them to size. I was thinking of using this material for my first Malloof style build, but couldn’t find any...
I just got it uncrated last evening. I intend to its the Snodgrass method, too!
Thanks for the encouraging words! I will hopefully have the time this evening to get it set up.
I am totally stoked! I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas. Albeit a 60-year-old kid.
I’ve done something similar. Put down a wash coat of shellac and the Waterlox went on perfect. An extra step, but it can give you piece of mind.
Marshall, Did you end up purchasing the Jet? I would love to hear how that worked out.
Thanks, Chip.
Jay, I just ordered that grizzly. As Jon said, that model has a pretty good reputation on this site. At least it contributed to me buying it. If you give me about a week, I’ll let you know my...
Hey Stephen,
I would love to hear your take on the jet 15. Still think so highly of it? I’m in the market, that’s why I ask.
Hey Jacob, did you end purchasing this Jet?
Although you didn’t mention this combination, I have found ash and cherry to be very pleasing together.
And old thread, but I wanted to say it was super helpful for me. I was thinking about the same thing. I am going with splines!
Hey Tom, did you go with the 861? If so, what’s it like?
Thanks, that’s just the info I needed.
Hi all,
I read a couple of the forum discussion on this, but didn’t find an answer that gave me the confidence to move forward.
I have some 25mm Baltic birch. I also have some thin leftover...
Great stuff! This is just what I was looking for. Only I think I will take Jim‘s advice. I have some white oak and I don’t really like the look of paint. Wifey wants outdoor furniture!
Like Charles above, I used i-Box for a lengthy panel (42”). No problems at all if you get it calibrated correctly.
Thanks, I was thinking about this, too.
Thanks for the responses. I will just make a dado Jake to fit my ply. Really appreciate the help!
