I have seen them really cheap on AliExpress.com. Check the seller profile feedback though. I've ordered things from some sellers that take forever to ship or not at all.
Mark, think of the engrave function as a burned "color fill" for enclosed shapes. If you want to engrave a single line, just use the "cut" function at lower power settings.
