I have a Bora mobile base on my A3-31. It was two swivel wheels. On my Harvey Alpha cabinet saw I went with four swivel wheels, plus two more swivels for the router table extension. Problem is...

The eye went right over Punta Gorda so there was a lot of wind damage. But nothing in comparison to Fort Myers Beach. Wind can do a lot of damage but storm surge can be devastating.
There's...
I have some Lennox CT blades and a couple of Resaw King blades and a bunch of others. My bandsaw is a Jet JWBS18. I think I bought it new around the late 90s to early 2000s. Resaw capacity is a...
I've had the A3-31 for what, 3 years or so? Mine didn't arrive perfectly set up. But it was close enough to use. About 6 months ago I decided to tackle attempting a perfect setup. I spent 3 days,...
We evacuated to Tampa, too. Ended up staying an extra day because I-75 was closed due to flooding. All the rain Ian dumped up north made its way down and created a second storm surge, long after Ian...
It's hard to beat for simple, fast connections. I've used it a lot on cabinet face frames. Never had one fail. But the pieces have to be clamped down tight before screwing.
I did a kitchen...
Jim, yeah we took it on the chin with the eye passing right through our house but we did surprisingly well. Power was out for less than a week and cable was reconnected in about three weeks.

Hi John,
Yes, the slider is a bit above the saw table. Taking a straight edge from the saw table to the slider, the straight edge hits about half way up the chamfer on the slider.
Yes, I had to cut the rail for the slider to fit.
I took the pictures but can't remember how to upload them here. But there's a channel running the entire length of the long length of the slider. That's where the legs attach, using T-bolts.

Oh, sorry.
I'm pretty sure the Unisaw has a shorter table than the Harvey. The depth on a Harvey table is 31". The Harvey slider comes with additional hardware and instructions to attach to a...
I do and I love it. It slides so smoothly I slide it back and forth just to feel the quality. It's rock solid. The fence stays square. Haven't had any problems with dust buildup. No problem...
Most likely
I realize it doesn't make sense but here's what happened...
After testing the voltage from the ironworker's metal stair railing to their trailer door knob (the two were not mechanically bonded)...
That's what I've got. My only problem is once the whole setup gets going, it can be a bit unwieldy, but that's because it's on a pitched floor (garage) and it tends to want to move toward the drain....
I used their 3550 with the extension for my table saw. With all wheels swiveling it can do a 360 in the space of the length of the equipment. For my small shop, something like that was a must. For...
The perfect height of a table saw is the height that works best for you.
As to DIY a mobile base out of wood, over the years I've done that on several tools and found most to be too bulky, too...
Go tell that to the iron worker foreman after he got shocked grabbing the doorknob of his grounded office trailer.
I used that method for my Hammer A3-31. But the shipper added a second pallet under the factory pallet, which made everything more fun. I used 3/4 EMT and a lot of Egyptian technology to get the...
While working on my neighbor's remodel, he bought some M18 tools. I used his 7-1/2" circular saw a number of times and it cut through 8/4 lumber easily.
After we had a lightning strike on a jobsite I was working on, I got a 50 volt reading to ground on the doorknob of the iron workers trailer. The trailer was properly grounded but nothing tripped. ...
Take a look at post #19. I used the legs that came with the slider for support. One had to be cut and rethread. Other materials used were Unistrut angle brackets and cap screws and washers. With...
Thank you, gentlemen.
Jacques, yes, much wood has been reduced in size on that setup and it's a pleasure to work on.
Adam, I have been really impressed with the Harvey equipment I've...
I think it was either 3 or 4 coats, as per mfg specs. It's Interlux Perfection Plus, a 2 part varnish. Practical Sailor tests showed it to last 2 years on the Florida sun. But you're not kidding...
Ditto. No more blast gates that won't close fully because they are clogged. One less maintenance issue to deal with.
