It is consistent across the face. Thanks brian
Ok. Removed the stop and sat the tool on the edge of my cast iron sawstop table saw. With pressure down on the knob it wanted to rock a little bit even with it pushed into the edge of the table. ...
Bill, I apologize if I come off as an "oil seal" snob. I sold Chicago rawhide as a factory rep for 7 years. Wouldn't recommend a speedi sleeve under a radial bearing. Might work, but not designed...
Sad. Brian
What runs against the shaft at this spot that has worn the shaft? Thanks. Brian
Registration is $100 per your statement, I have always thought document fee was just a profit add on? I always negotiate a price that is "all in." No extras or surprises.
Cool picture. My wife and sat in the back yard here in Indianapolis and watched. Perfect day for it here, 75 and clear skies. Brian
My wife keeps our credit frozen so we can't get ripped off. Unfreeze it when/if we need to use it. Brian
Good information, thanks brian
Thanks Jim.
Thanks to everyone. Been using my Domino for a few years now, recurring problem. My workpiece is always clamped down and overhangs the work surface. I do plunge with my hand on the front hold...
Happens to be 3/4" stock, but I don't think it matters how thick the stock is since I am referencing off the bottom of the fence and the same reference face/plane on the work. This is a piece of...
Building a coffee table and assembling the pieces for the skirt pictured here. I always use painters tape so I can see my marks for my line up and I make oversize mortises in one side of the...
what do you think of . Brian
Ouch, woodworking can be a dangerous hobby. My habit is to turn off the machine, unplug it so I can see the cord when done with the operation even if I know I am coming back later. Brian
I stay away from buying direct from Chinese companies. Very concerned about quality and problem resolution. Brian
I try not to buy 13/16" S2S material. Even if it is flat across the board it can have a twist or bow in it. When you cut it into smaller pieces, it will move, releasing internal stresses. True...
Working in the shop this morning. I'm 67 now. Brought in some lumber for a project over a week ago to acclimate and last week I laid it out figuring out how to use so I can get what I need. After...
I have a Grizzly G0586, 8" X 72". I still limit how long a board I mill on this. For example side rail boards for beds I mill on my planer with a planer sled. IMO, buy a good planer, make a good...
Thanks great idea. brian
It's square, the buildup on the edge drives me nuts when checking if a cut is square. What type of fixture could I use to hold it 90 degrees?
I have my fathers set from his work and want to keep using it. I have some what i think is very old rust turned black on both narrow edges and want to remove this properly. Looking for suggestions....
Did you put this blade on the machine? What brand and model is the saw? Thanks. Brian
The groove at the bottom of the threads looks to be intentional and a machined groove. The larger diameter just below it, I don't think is deformation. The diameter is to uniform in my opinion.
