Have you seen this little dust collector? Its portability sounds pretty interesting.

I sent my meager contribution via PayPal.

I don't know if this fits your description of "Beautiful", but my Wife likes it, and that's really all that counts. (I kinda like it too)

Brian, I have had my Veritas top and fence at least 4 years. I can change bits from above the top without a router lift. The top has remained totally flat for all these years with the Hitachi MV 12...
Kinda late, but for anyone interested, a photo of my DW746.
I have had the full blown DW 746 (sliding table, outfeed table, rt side extension table, on a large mobile base) for over 3 years, and have had no regrets at all over the purchase. As a matter of...
Cliff, On what basis do you make that fairly broad statement? Past experience, etc.?
While I do appreciate your feedback, I am firmly committed to Pex. This commitmant is based on over 2 years...
Wes, Can you find out what system he used. Watts, Wirsbo, Rehau, etc. and what tools he used to make the connections.
Thanks for all your replys so far.

Has anyone here ever done a PEX plumbing project? I am going to be forced to replace my 30 year old galvanized water pipes in our house. Several of the horizontal runs have started developing pin...
Finished the little entry table this weekend, got it installed and loaded. The material is QSRO and the finish is General Finishes "Spiced Walnut" oil based stain, with Deft Satin lacquer top coat.
Attempting to apply a finish to this small entry table.
Finally got the finish applied, and the piece put in place and loaded.
I saved my "old" planer, set to exactly 3/4" for my final finishing pass after the board comes off my 15" heavy duty planer. Saves me a lot of time.
I purchased the set-up block from Rocklers, it wasn't even close to the required set-up (at least for me) a total waste of money. But you can bet your sweet bippy I saved a piece of my properly...
I bought the "smaller" 3/4" max thickness bit from Rockler last month. I used the lock miter joint constructing 4 - 3"x3" x 30" legs from quarter sawn red oak. The bit took quite a few test pieces...
Frank, really nice work, as well as design. How did you do the drawer slides? I can't see enough details from the photo, it appears to be a sliding dovetail.

I have been delighted with my Veritas 3/16" steel router plate. I did a relief cut on my router table top to allow for a flush fit. It is large, heavy, and allows easy bit changes from the top. I...
David, Outstanding work, as usual.

The deal has been done, I kinda thought that would be the consensus, but I sorta got cold feet. My Delta 52-580 has done an outstanding job on the three projects I've used it on, I can only hope the...
Would a reasonably sane person trade a relatively new Delta 52-580 lunchbox planer for a 1989 Bridgewood 15" open stand planer - even up? The Bridgewood has been owned by an engineer since new and...
John, Thanks for asking, but I forgot to take any before photos. It wasn't as gross as some machines I see restored. It hadn't been left outside, or abused. The old girl just served hard time in a...
I bought this 1987 Invicta/Delta (made in Brazil) jointer from the retiring owner of a cabinet shop. It had lived a pretty rough life, but I really wanted a DJ 20. I now have more money invested in...
I've had my TS-LS for about 2 years, the best addition to a table saw I could imagine. Probably wouldn't be my first choice if all I cut was sheet goods, but wonderful for repeatability. My 4-5/8"...
Fantastic work, your family will be very proud, and heirloom piece for sure.
Jim
Bart, Thanks for the reply, I was not looking for compliments, only comments so I might improve my skills.
The wood used was quarter sawn red oak, finished with General Finishes "Spiced Walnut"...
