Only if I can afford to replace it if I break it. A lot of times it is an excuse, instead of borrowing, to buy another tool!

Another nice thing about Epstein is you can see the country of origin at a glance.
I bought some of those wood-colored glue sticks too, need to try them out. The superglue-baking soda-mica powder thing worked for me too, took a few tries to get the hang of it, I would practice on...
You can buy adapters:...
How about a Shaper Origin handheld 3D router? Doesn't take up much space and does A LOT of different tasks.
There once was a machine sold by Grizzley(?) called a Wood Mill, looked like a metal cutting milling machine with a hole in the middle of the table, and the RPM range was optimized to use either wood...
The more I learn, the more I realize I don't know...
Funny co-incidence, I got an email this morning regarding a comment I made on a video for a retrofitted fence for a Cutech jointer. I think I will try this:...
I'd love a floor-standing model, but I need something that can be stored away when not in use. Can I do decent work on one of these if I have a REAL GOOD outfeed? Asking this only of those with first...
I sure don't want to pay extra for it, I just keep my hands out of the blade, just like every other tool in my shop!
Two table saws. I also have a cheap track saw for breaking down sheet goods and doing non-precision work. And a small jointer. I would'nt use the little jointer on anything like a table top glue-up.
I have been hearing about this for a while now. 731 Woodworks has spoke of this and posted clips of the CPA meeting on his Youtube channel.
This all makes sense, thanks for the input.
I need to update my old Grizzley track saw. I have heard several times a quality track saw will give consistent glue-up ready cuts, what are the opinions here? I do have a small 6"(4"?) tabletop...
I have some cedar as well, I'm not sure if it is Western Red or Arimatic. It was cut in Texas near the Gulf Coast.
You guys confirmed just what I was thinking.
I plan to do my new cathedral ceiling in knotty pine:

This is the best price I've seen. I'm going for a lodge/tavern type look, the walls are...
I see that the Bosh 1677M is similar USA made with 15 amps, and fits the Big Foot kit, I think that's the way to go.
I want to build a Big Foot saw. I see a lot of 13 amp Skil wormdrive saws, will it be way under powered compared to a 15 amp? I want a made in USA motor or else I'd buy a new one.

They sell repair parts. They may even warrantee it, they warrantied something for my fence which I bought used, great customer service.
I have cut coves with the table saw, I was just thinking, since my bench is about 5' long, I'd try a hand circ saw. Would not cut as big a radius though.
I have a VFD to run my metal working milling machine, was only a couple hundred bucks. Is it not true that you loose some power when using a rotary phase converter?
That triangle saw blade is crazy. Funny thing, I am wanting to cut a cove in a cedar slab that I am using to make a bench seat, and was thinking I could use a hand circular saw sideways like in the...
One more vote for torsion box.
Ya know how when you rip a long board with a bow in it, the bow follows the fence and you still have a bow? Any way to PUT a bow in a straight board, kinda the opposite?
