I went through all this with my home inspection business and most is similar.
You want an insurance company that is admitted in your state. Non admitted companies can file bankruptcy and the state...
Harbor fright and N. Tool has the clamp on type that works well. About $20.
Everything back there to do with brakes was replaced except parking brake. Some pads come with a composite thin slab on the back for anti squeal but I had to coat those also.
My truck has disc on the rear even though it’s a 2003. It looks similar to drum on the outside because of the parking brake drums.
I had the problem on many cars when I forgot to use it. I spray it on the back of the pads and wait till very tacky. Maybe not turning the rotors has caused it. I have put high mileage on 3 BMW’s and...
Had corrosion and dragging brakes so I took it to a well known mechanic. Getting some squeaking back there after the total rebuild. They texted me to see if everything was ok and I told them I might...
That 1975 breaker that didn’t trip, let me quess, it was a FPE panel. If anyone has an FPE or Zinsco it needs to be replaced before a fire.
Guess why they make the winged nuts vs knurled.
That’s an extremely small pipe for an air leak but the fix that is only on a few houses owned by Hvac techs and home inspectors is to put p-traps on those and fill the secondary trap with mineral oil...
The button to click for manual entry is too far down the page where they have two choices to decide on. By the time I read all that and selected one I scrolled down looking for the continue button...
Downloads from financial companies is either not working or has wrong numbers in several cases. Can’t upload it from a saved form either and get all the numbers. Lots of work. Might pay someone next...
I've only saw one house like that. I doubt it’s allowed anywhere now unless they are using an older code cycle. Codes do differ but not all building inspectors go into the attic and if they do it’s...
A properly plumbed condensate system has:
Primary piped with a slope downhill to exterior or to a sump pump. Never to a sewer system because even with a trap in the attic for example it will dry out...
If you are sure at least one thing is working on that circuit and it’s just a single lever breaker you have a loose or burned wire. Turn off all breakers. I would start by looking in the box where...
Congratulations Jim!
Word of advice, keep the shop smaller than the house to prevent marital poaching upon sacred ground.
Especially if you have it setup to rout too deep and don’t secure the workpiece.
The big box 6ga copper is only rated for 55 amps. For a 100 ft run it would be best to put in AL wiring, check with electrician or code book for size and do a 100 amp panel.
I would charge for the design and detailed quote. The charge is subtracted from the quote if they sign. They can get a cheaper quote elsewhere using your free information and many will.
I have the 80v kobalt lawnmower so I would consider getting that one too but need a lot of power for clearing after hurricanes.
I was about to cut down a Chinese Tallow tree due to all the greasy...
Here is the kit I ordered, it’s 45mm but designed to fit the 51 epa too.
I can install a compression release on this one.

The 55 uses the same documentation as the 51 with notations on differences. 51 epa does not have one.
When I started my inspection business I underestimated the difficulty of getting agents to send you customers. There were only a handful of inspectors with websites so I used my downtime to build a...
Plenty of carbon and something on the piston side. No scoring evident. After all this work I’ll be installing new parts. Having trouble with the ads though. Picture of whole top end kit with a part...
I was on there, that’s where I found this to be a common problem with many saws. Some fixes are on there but no help for mine. I’m taking the piston out this afternoon to look.
