I'll likely go with a combination with things skewed toward hidden. Pretty much all 120v electrical will be in the wall. Some 240v will be in the wall and some on the surface in conduit, depending on...
$4.75 at Costco on Sunday...down about a quarter since last visit.
My younger daughter and her SO recently asked for a small coffee table for their "diminutive" apartment. They even provided plans...

"Productive" week in a sense for me, outside of several days of sciatica pain that was "not fun". :( The week started out with being the "rock and stick" picker as my neighbor finished up re-grading...
Sharp corners are indeed possible to engrave on metal like that with a CNC using V-Carve techniques and appropriate tooling. You can absolutely engrave what you show with CNC. (You mention 3D...
My singular response about the "why" for when many threads like that get removed from view comes down to something my mother used to teach..."It's not what you say but how you say it". Yes, sometimes...
That's similar to mine, Bill. I've been very pleased with it...and paid a bit more for it new, too. :)
Festool also has the cord manager and recently updated it.
If I'm not mistaken, one differentiator with the Kreg is that it's a left-blade saw, the opposite of the others. Some folks prefer that.
Another reason I suggested the 2019-2020. I believe the keyboard was updated. I have a 2019, although I rarely use the on-board keyboard. It's not been a problem when I have used it, however.
I'd likely pull the trim and put in additional shims/blocking to stabilize the structure. That and insure that the proper type and length of screws are used as was mentioned in other commentary.
Go newer if you can...2019-2020 Intel based. Better performance and longer "OS life" left. Check Apple.com for refurbs. OWC also sells reconditioned Macs.
Keep in mind that some formats of clamps designed to be used with MFT-type surfaces are not friendly to the thicker tops. You might consider putting in some clamping slots, too, for more flexibility.
Alex, I can appreciate your concern. The thing is that a lot of folks who are using these cordless tools now have more than enough batteries to handle things for their workday. The fellow in the...
Actually, from a market tier perspective, it does make a little sense. "Relatively speaking" a huge majority of folks (at least in the US) cannot get Internet speeds that can take advantage of even...
Festool, Makita and now Milwaukee use compatible tracks. I "think" Mafeil is also compatible, too. DeWalt has its own design track which is very different. I could be wrong, but I don't believe that...
I missed this thread previously. One thing I want to mention is that right now in my temporary shop, I have my BenchDog Cast iron router table top attached to a cabinet saw top which provides one...
{rolls eyes} about the nailing...
I believe that's the cost with the Packout, etc. They will be offering the bare tool, too.
The change in sound level was pretty amazing, Curt. So much so that I'm about to re-lubricate again (one year in) to keep things that way! Garage doors are one of those things that can be "out of...
The majority of the "surfaces with lots of holes" that a system like this is designed to create are only a single thickness of 3/4" or 19mm-ish sheet stock, so I don't think that extra thick was...
For folks invested in the Milwaukee platform, it's a real plus. It's good to have another choice on the market for folks. While I'm a "Festool guy", I really do appreciate other quality brands, too....
Alan, it's not unusual for there to be limited or no backward compatibility with devices like this in the industry...'nature of the beast. Mesh systems are "one unit" when they are, um...meshed...so...
Milwaukee just had their pro user/influencer event and one of the biggies revealed is a new 18v Fuel powered track saw. It looks "very worthy" and has some nice features, including some micro...
I use Rakuten...formerly EBates. Kind of a similar thing to what Capital One is offering.
