I did the same thing as Bruce, wishing I knew about the FWW article. It took some time to design and find the parts.

I forgot to write: Price includes shipping to CONUS

The blades are nearly unused and about a year old. I think I mounted them in the saw twice. I bought a Felder saw and reboring is too expensive....

I was planning to go; instead, I spent the money on a KF700SP deposit. This broke the bank, so I imagine I don't need to see a Kappa 500 - presumably it costs even more.

I've had good luck with the PM 719T for through tenons. You'll spend no time creating accurate mortises, if you spend some time keeping the chisels sharp.

Regarding the overhead guard, I was leaning towards the Grizzly for price and the 4" hose capacity. The description says "the top rotates 90 out of the way for complete versatility". I assumed this...

Thanks for the comments. You convinced me the 126" slider is worth $30/inch more. Width is an issue if I keep the miter set-up as is, so I'll spend my six-months waiting for the saw redesigning the...

I use the same strapping tape on the sandpaper and the velcro. If I don't put it on the velcro, the sandpaper pulls up the end of the velcro.

    Sliding saw options

I've decided to buy a KF700 and would appreciate opinions on a couple points:

    - Has anyone bought a 110" slider and wish they wish they had 126"?

    - Is there some reason the overhead guard is...

I do the same as Lee and Randy. I dehumidify the PA shop. There was an unforgettable Spring rust event to use as reference, anytime I think the dehumidifier uses too much electricity.
