Unfortunately he does not know what the existing finish is or the brand/make of flooring since it was in the house when he bought the home.
I had a colleague at work ask me about touching up some areas on his hardwood floors that are showing wear from foot traffic and pets.
I still have to get details if the damage if wearing through...
Check PGN bearings….

As noted above the ZZ is metal shields, I believe 2RS would be sealed both sides
The door seals are actually very good. I considered extra insulation on the doors, but they are flat on the inside, no cavity to hold insulation. Didn’t consider glueing on foam panels as the doors...
I'm in the same situation as Jim regarding the garage door. Flat ceiling, insulated to R30, wall R13, garage door R10
I never considered that aspect. It would be a test to try with and without the fan, on nights with similar outside temps..
Jim,
i forgot to mention I have a fan mounted at the top of the wall above the heater, angled down, to help circulate the air around the shop.
So I picked up an oil radiator. The electric ceramic heater I have is older and has a cord that gets warm when it is on high, so I don't trust it to leave unattended.

I...
That would be my intended use, as a replacement/alternative to oil radiators.
I would be willing to bet I would need at least 2 to keep the shop in the 40 degree range on these colder nights.
Carl,
I am insulated pretty well. R13 in walls with drywall. Ceilings are R30. Garage doors are fairly new, R15. I have 1 window (Andersen). Located in Eastern PA.
The garage door seals...
Jim,
Here is a link to the units I mentioned.

Agreed, resistive heating is not the most efficient option. ...
Has anyone used wall mounted electric panel heaters as a supplement to their shop heat?
My shop generally stays between 40-45 F when not heated (attached 2 car garage, well insulated, ~ 400 sq ft)...
I have a 10” and a 14” and use them as you describe. I find it very useful to have both.
I resaw and do some rough ripping on my 14”. I use the 10” almost every time I am in the shop.
I have a Rikon 10-3061 and have been very happy with it.
