I bet the collet works in the US market router as well. It would not make sense to have a different rotor and...
Every number in the photo is from the motor, they have nothing to do with the jointer model number.
For instance if you search for Magnetek B674, it will return several electric motor offerings.

A simple limit switch wired in series with the light would do that trick.
Negative to cleaning grill grates with anything the resembles a wire brush. Too many opportunities to ingest a stray wire. Much better products available today to not need a brush anywhere near a...
Richard, thanks for that info, I've never seen one of those before. It looks like Pro-Grip actually calls that a Twin Clamp, the Back to Back is slightly different. I can certainly see a use case for...
Are you certain that is not two clamps that are stuck together with double sided tape or some sort adhesive.
Agree with Mike, look for the wiring diagram inside the machine. Also, the part you have in the pictures is called a contactor, not a switch.
Sounds like a good excuse to get track saw Brian ;)
I've been following that channel for a while. Truly a talented craftsman!
Good ending and good on you for doing the right thing. Many these days would not.
I grew up just over the hill (the Tug Hill Plateau) from Oswego, I have family in that area still. I grew up just North of Boonville NY, the last year I lived there was 1976, Boonville received 346...
You must be pretty good to make 16" crosscuts with a sledge :D

A very experienced table saw operator MIGHT get away with this operation, but it's not the thing to be showing the typical begging woodworker which would be Woodworkers Journal prime audience. That...
I would design to the actual dimensions of my working stock. Too much chance for accumulated error(s) using the nominal size. I would also design in mm, much easier than constantly converting back...
Those bases would be much more useful if they were round in my opinion. Being oval, they would not be practical to use with an edge guide.
That voltage is for the individual cells in the Tesla battery pack. The entire pack output is more like 400 volts. Adapting a BEV battery pack to an old battery forklift would be a VERY challenging...
That's a fascinating bit of trivia!
I'm thankful that I'm grandfathered in as long as I maintain my subscription at $300 per year. I have the full functionality and really like the post processor for the CNC mill. The whole package has...
You guys are aware that Fusion 360 is free for hobbyists - correct?

You guys are such enablers. Guess what's in my shopping cart right now?
The better track saws are inherently safer as well, the blade is completely enclosed other than whets below the work surface, it has a riving knife and anti-kickback built into the track interface. I...
Well, you have a saw. Making a shorter Kreg track doesn't sound too hard.
