Ok here is the problem.
I have a bench top drill press and use it to drill the hole to receive Euro style hinges.
The press does a good job of drilling the holes however the attached iron work...

I didn't get any answers back on this so I figured it was an easy process.
I found some decent 7 layer sanded pine 3/4 plywood at home depot for $24 a sheet that I am using to make some garage...

I had a plan to spray 1 coat of Target EM 1000 Sanding sealer down first and then finish with EM 9000.
THis will be for the inside of garage cabinets. I am going to pre finish the sheet goods...

I sprayed some cabinets with white tinted Target EM9000 about 3 weeks ago.
After getting a good look in the sunlight there are some places that show through.

I let the previous coat dry and then after 24 hours I went ahead and gave it a quick scuff down with 320 sand paper and then put on a second coat.
It seems to be doing fine.

Can the Target Oxford 9000 Series Super Clear Polyurethane be sanded?

You might think that it is a little to Red but the Red really helps the dark wood stand out.

I suspect that if you really wanted to keep firearms secure you would get a gun safe and build a cabinet around it to disguise it.

Other wise I don't think a wooden door is that much more...
