What can I expect if I try to run this wood through my Dewalt 735 thickness planer? It seems extremely hard and I don't want to harm the blades.... Anyone has tried this or am I being overly...

How many amps is the breaker rated for? Is the saw a 3 or 5 hp?
I wired in a momentary contact safety switch wired to the same 2 wires the "on" button engages. I usually tip it with my hip when I need the saw to stop.

You will need MAPP GAS and Mapp Gas Torch to melt sifos... and if you're passing the copper lines through where wood joists are in close proximity you have to be extremely careful for fire.....

Chris...you can pop another 4 inch on the motor door on your general ...it would make better sense than cutting into the cabinet. 2x4" will flow a little over 6 in in total.

IMHO ..I do beleive colder climate(northern Canada) maples are harder.

Is there any diffrence in maples cultivated in cold climates where the syrup is removed form them yearly..over the ones that grow in warmer climates...?

The material I had salvaged came in 1 3/4 and 1 ich thickness...I resawed teh thicker stuff to 2x 3/4"...and passed it through the planer... ...
