Maybe there is a difference in the brand, but I also made the experience that there is no difference between cast and extruded.
Thx a lot, Kev - that‘s exactly what I thought about this morning. I‘ll try on monday and think about a stress test
It is extruded
Hello,
I hope everbody is well! Today I cutted an acrylic sheet, and a couple hours later it cracked by itself. Does anybody have a clue why this happens? Maybe because it‘s not tempered?
How...
Hello Crowd :)
long time no read! A customer (hairdresser) want me to engrave some combs for her, on the comb it says it's made of carbon. Is that safe to engrave?
Thank you, cheers Andrea
thank you so far for your suggestions :)
@David - that's what I do at the moment, I print with X5 (it runs fine with WIN10)
@Bryan - all curves are closed. I don't believe it's a driver...
I had the same problem with the menu bar. Since Win10 has white text on white menu bar it's just invisible (super smart;)) Just create a new main menu bar and copy the items from the main menu bar to...
Hello,
hope everyone had enjoyable holidays :)
A while ago my computer automatically updated to Windows 10 now I also updated my Coreldraw X5 to X7 - which has a strange behaviour with my old...
Thank you very much, Brian :) - that's funny Alejandro Paul was my first thought, but didn't catch this one
Thank you Mike, and you are right - they are pretty much sold out nower days :D we got a...
Hello everyone,
I need some help on a font I can't identify
317005
thank you in advance,
cheers Andrea
@Mark - it rather draws out of the cabin, than from top or bottom
@Michael, yes I need the honeycomb because of the thin materials I cut. My table size is 740x460mm . Do you cut on your vacuum...
Thank you all for your answers :) I found an intermediate solution in raising the cutting grid more, that way the extraction underneath got a lot better. Also I adjusted the air assist - I didn't pay...
thank you Gary, my setup is like you described it. My grid is also raised, but the exhaust doesn't get the fumes from underneath
Hi all,
since my exhaust system only extracts from top of the material, I sometimes have problems with residue when cutting acrylic. Somebody told me to build a box with a hole and hook up a...
this seams to be a world wide problem, I had this happen to me also - it didn't cut through and the edges were charred. It depended on the supplier where the MDF came from - here you can tell by the...
this is so beautiful! Then again, it is very special because it is handmade - and that's what makes the niche - IMHO
First of all, happy new year everbody (better late than never;) )
agree with you Keith, and you also have to have the time to experiment with and learn the software. I also think that the...
A Hot Knife / Hot Wire Foam Cutter would be great
hehe - I'm with you :D
count me in - I have some more room :D
you can wipe it off dry with a little sheet of silicone and keep the dry powder to dillute it with either DNA or water, I'm with the others though it's not worth it
A while back I tried it with Delrin and Acrylic both worked fine. You have to be careful not to apply to much power and don't engrave to deep otherwise the plates break pretty easy. Unfortunately...
Thank you Glen, that helped.
Hi,
does anybody know the secret in which order Coreldraw sequences objects, when duplicating them multiple times along the X / Y axis ? I'm pretty tired to resequence them by hand in a logical...
