I know next to nothing about hinges ... I've bought some cheap ones ... and I've regretted it. I'm building a small cabinet for a friend (see pic below), and I'd like to buy good hinges ......

For what it's worth, I got the resaw king (carbide tipped) and it didn't burn the other piece of wood (that was from the same piece that was burned originally...)

I don't think the wood is pinching the blade because the burning happens before the wood has cleared the blade ... it's happening from the beginning of the cut...

This could be it, although I haven't used the blade very often... someone else mentioned using a carbide blade...

I'm looking to get a nice table saw. I've narrowed my search to Saw Stop's Cabinet saw and a similar model from Harvey. I've seen the Saw Stop in a couple stores ... but all I've really done...

How do you think these legs are attached to the bench top?

or better yet ... what are some options ... I'd like to make something similar to this ...

I have a blank, unused “zero clearance” throat plate ... if I’m cutting at 45 degrees, should I have a plate? If so, how do I make that happen?
