The 3HP upgrade kit included the gas strut, motor and control box.
I did the upgrade from the PCS 1.75HP (110v) to the 3HP 220V upgrade. Cost around $600 a couple of years ago. Took about an hour to switch motors and put in the new control box.
Saw doesn't...

Around that center piece, could you glue (screw?) in a couple of sacrificial blocks to help support it while you plane and the later cut it out?
Not quite sure what a laser ruler is, but I have one of these, Bosch Blaze GLM50C. It seems accurate to 10th's of a mm, but as it's handheld, there is operator error in keeping it still.

Not sure if will help, but about 15 years ago, I installed a 4 post car lift in the center bay of my garage. It could lift 9000lbs and go to a height of 6'6" all on 110v.
I extended the lifts...
I ordered the router table and installed that, along with the Incra legs
Where the LSTS Clamps is a long way away from the blade. Without the front clamp, I can get about an 1/8" of movement at the fence. Sometimes I forget to clamp it and it rarely messes up my piece,...
Have an Incra LSTS on my Sawstop for about 2-3 years. Love it.
I like the ability to go to a specific setting, minutes, weeks, etc. after making a previous cut.
I find it to be very accurate,...
I have the TSO version, had it for about 4 years.
They look identical, other than the color.
I do like the tool and use it a lot with my Festool tracks.
I just signed up a couple of months back.
Had to have a $20K out patient eye surgery about 3 weeks after starting Medicare.

He's just turned 29. Has a good steady job, although is moving up the ranks faster than any other employee has done in a large nation wide company.
This would be a side kick startup, with not a...
Yes, I wanted to say, he's never really used woodworking or metal working machines, I was fortunate to do both for many years in high school, but he was great assembling Lego's.
I used to love it...
