Because sharpening is like religion. People tend to think their way is the only correct way. Every sharpening thread devolves into that.
I've had good luck storing elm, ash and a balsam poplar using shrink wrap for a few months. Get some mold sometimes but it turns away just fine. I've actually had a few burr oak blanks wrapped in...
I'm no expert but....
I use a 45 degree swept back bowl gouge on the inside wall when I'm doing a light undercut. I like the look of a slightly larger rim with an undercut, than the rest of the...
I try to get the cleanest cut I can just as good practice when roughing out, but that's really the only reason.
I wonder if adding an extreme amount of set would help with sawing green wood?
The tannins in oak will cause rust almost immediately. If you touch metal and the touch the peice of wet oak, you'll get black stains. I believe some people have had good luck using lemon juice to...

Not sure about the states but black forest wood products carries some here in alberta and ships to the states.
Spiracraft on you tube has an unboxing and some info. They aren't readily available yet
Click on old tools at the bottom, then there's a link part way down the page
100pr for ornaments? You mean separate/several pairs for the hangers or actually using the 100 to make ornaments?
Albums are accessible through the mobile version
Or it could just be that people have different situations than you.
It looks good, if you did want a lid I would turn a concave lid that settles down inside with a fairly fine spindle for lifting.
Jeez you must almost feel guilty for that steal.
When you buy a supernova you buy an insert with it that fits in the chuck, so you'll want to buy the 1 1/4 x 8tpi threaded insert. It's pretty standard these days. Not sure if the supernova comes as...
