Paul,
If i may ask, what are the aproximate outside dimension of the box? Its very nice!
Thanks for the kind words guys. Joshua, here is a more detailed picure of the pull. Spent about 4 hours making them believe it or not. Not a 90 degree line anywhere and the hard part was trying to...
After much deliberation, I decided to use the method where the legs are actually the stiles for the outsides of the drawers. I really want to give a shout out to Danny Hamsley for the pecan lumber...
Need some advice. I am building a hall table with a one piece front apron (aprox 4.5" tall) with 3 INSET drawers so the openings have to be perfect. I would like to use the cut-out pieces for the...
Speechless
 You need a bigger trashcan!
Belt sanders work like a champ for flattening the back of drawknives that may have a bow.
I have Elia's. I enjoy using it every time i pick it up. I cant imagine having a problem with it but he is close and responsive if you should.
Not sure how wide of a groove your talking about but i assume in the 1/4'' range. I recently purchased a Veritas Plow plane and cutters primarily for drawer bottom grooves and could not be happier....
Congrats Mike. I am ordering from Online Metals today for the goods to build one myself. They should also throw you a gift certificate as I'm sure that I'm not the only one ordering fron them because...
Very nice job. Now do what I did and run the edge of a random orbital sander with an 80 grit disc into the middle of the top while sanding something and cut a big gash in it like i did on the 2nd...
Bench looks fabulous! I am really jealous of that window you have. I would kill or at least mame for some natural light on my bench.
If you have or could get a jointer or at least a jointer plane and a smoother plane, then definitely the bandsaw. Cleaning up the rough edges left by a bandsaw would be a piece of cake. Without that...
Beautiful work. I have an iron that i need to give that a try with. You can mix your shot with epoxy into a slurry and then just pour it in the holes to eliminate any chance of settling, shifting and...
I originally booked 2 rooms at the Fairfield Marriott in Berea for the WW in America Conference. I now only need one. I'm not sure if everything is sold out around there but seeing the other post...
Very Nice. Thanks for the picture.
Beeeeautiful!! Can you post some pics with it opened up? I'd love to see the inside.
Very Nice !! What a great use of wood that was destined for the dump. Its cool to have something like that which reminds you of something else.
Thanks all for the info. Now no one bid on ebay on any pushdrills or bits ever again. :v)
The shank on these are 11/64 or .170. Does that tell you anything?
So which Stanley model (s) used these? I have run across a few of these and I guess now I need to know which drill to hunt down.
Thanks
On the heels of our discussion on the pushdrills, can you tell from the pictures which manufacturers drill this would fit?
I cant speak for the Twin or Shoulder but the Tail Vise from them is of good quality.
Ken,
If you spend a few minutes to get your iron really sharp, wax the bottom of the sole, get the offending slab secured and make sure your planing with the grain, i bet it wont be but a few...
