Belt sanders work like a champ for flattening the back of drawknives that may have a bow.

I have Elia's. I enjoy using it every time i pick it up. I cant imagine having a problem with it but he is close and responsive if you should.

On the heels of our discussion on the pushdrills, can you tell from the pictures which manufacturers drill this would fit?

I cant speak for the Twin or Shoulder but the Tail Vise from them is of good quality.
